I”m sure you are all sick of reading social media posts and meme’s highlighting, ‘NEW YEAR, NEW ME’, which is great for some of us, but its January 2017 and I am still…well me! The time to make resolutions and change yourself for the better is a great mindset to take on, but for me, I just want to stay realistic and give myself goals that I know are achievable.
The beginning of this year was a whirlwind. I started a new project working of Sedulo’s new Deansgate offices, got engaged in Iceland, and fell pregnant all in the first three months of last year. The rest of the year has been spent enjoying my pregnancy, giving birth to my beautiful baby boy Romeo and blogging all about my travels, beauty & fashion tips and juggling being a working mum here on my website.
Since having my boys my whole world has changed. I’ve been blessed and besotted with them, in good health (so far!) and have a fabulously supportive family, so in hindsight what more could I want. Christmas and New Years Eve was spent with my fiance, our boys and both our families and we were in bed my 11.45pm on NYE, after a very exhausting Christmas running around after the kids and getting the house back to normality.
This year is all about wedding planning and kick-starting my “Mummy Makeover Takeover” to get my body back in shape, toning up and getting rid of my kangaroo pouch. Not only am I getting married in less than 18 months, but Paul has booked us a week away to LA and Las Vegas in May this year, which is a great excuse to get fit and body beautiful!
My new years resolutions this year is to continuing being me. I will crumble some days, have meltdowns, and some days I’ll feel on top of the world. I am not perfect and I take each day as it comes. This year is the next chapter of my life being a mum and stepmum of 3 boys, a wife to be, and who knows..maybe a new career! Exciting times ahead.
